S’pore’s links with Hebrew University
Singapore’s links with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem began as early as 1922, when one of its founders, Albert Einstein, was in the Republic raising funds for the institution.
Israel has the largest number of high-tech start-ups after the United States and there are more than 5,000 Israeli high-tech companies.
Representatives from Singapore tertiary institutes said that while there had been informal collaborations with Hebrew University in the past, both sides are interested in strengthening ties further.
